In response, Mumbai team could not even play the full 20 overs and were all out for 104 runs.

Chennai Super Kings has made a record of defeating Mumbai Indians by the biggest margin of runs in IPL. Earlier in the IPL, Mumbai’s biggest defeat was by 87 runs, which it suffered against Rajasthan Royals in 2013. Mumbai’s biggest defeat till now against Chennai was by 48 runs, but CSK improved that margin and defeated MI by 103 runs.

This is Chennai Super Kings’ biggest win by runs in IPL. Earlier, CSK’s biggest win by runs was 97 runs, which came against Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings) in 2015.

Samson’s historic century, Akil Hosein shines again

There were two biggest heroes of the victory of Chennai Super Kings. First Sanju Samson scored the fifth century of his IPL career. He scored 101 runs in 54 balls. Thanks to him, Chennai was able to score a huge score of 207 runs. When it came to bowling, Akeel Hosein, who came as an impact player, took 4 wickets. He dismissed four batsmen giving only 17 runs in his 4 over spell.
