According to the police, this incident happened on 22 February. The girl had left the house to run away with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend called her to a temple and promised her marriage. The allegation is that he took the girl to a deserted area and raped her. After this the accused youth left her near Rama bus stand and ran away. The girl was waiting there for the bus and was very scared.
Raped and thrown from a five-storey building
Meanwhile, another person reached there, who was going from Jharkhand towards Paradeep on bike. Seeing the girl alone, he assured her of help and took her to his rented house in Paradeep. Police investigation has revealed that the accused took the girl to the rooftop of the house and raped her. After this he pushed the girl down from the five-storey building, due to which she died on the spot.
The police recovered the girl’s body the next morning. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police took swift action and arrested both the accused. Jagatsinghpur Superintendent of Police Ankit Kumar Verma He said that in the preliminary investigation it has become clear that the girl first became a victim of her boyfriend’s brutality and then the second accused committed a crime with her by giving her false support and murdered her.
