‘Revanth Reddy will read Kalma before the cabinet meeting…’, BJP MP’s strange statement regarding Telangana CM

Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Dharmapuri Arvind has set a new record of rhetoric on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and has directly accused him of appeasement. Making a shocking comment, Arvind said that in the meeting to be held in Telangana on Monday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will wear a cap on his head before starting the cabinet meeting and will start the meeting by reciting ‘Kalma’. He alleged that the Congress government has mortgaged the state under pressure from MIM to save its position.

Through this statement, Arvind expressed deep concern over the changing political environment in Telangana. He raised the question that when the government puts itself under the pressure of any one particular party or religion, then how will the decisions of the cabinet be in the interest of the people of the state? He said that the public had elected Revanth Reddy for development and progress, but he has become so entangled in vote bank politics that the basic structure and culture of the state is in danger. Citing the revival of ‘Nizam culture’, the MP warned that the BJP will not tolerate such alliances and politics that divides voters and will continue to oppose it from the streets to Parliament.

This statement has come at a time when there is already tension between the ruling party and the opposition in the state regarding ‘polarization’. This attack by Dharmapuri Arvind has become more sharp after the steps taken by the Congress government, which the BJP is terming as minority appeasement. Political analysts believe that in the coming days, the issues of ‘Hindutva’ and ‘appeasement’ will remain at the center of Telangana politics. Till now, there has been no official response from the Chief Minister’s Office or the Congress in-charge on these serious allegations, but this statement has created a stir in the political circles of the state.
