Zeenat Aman’s personal life was painful
In the 70s, when the society was bound by strict rules, Zeenat Aman worked to break these restrictions. On screen, she played such strong and outspoken characters, which openly challenged the male-dominated thinking. But while on one hand his on-screen journey was strong, on the other hand his relationships in his personal life were often full of ups and downs. He suffered a lot of sorrow in his life.
Suffered sorrow in first marriage
In 1978, Zeenat Aman got involved with actor Sanjay Khan and later both of them got married. However, this relationship did not go well for long and many serious allegations came to light regarding it. According to reports, Sanjay Khan was already married and had four children. During this time, several incidents of violence were claimed in this relationship, one of which is said to have happened in a hotel in Mumbai, where Zeenat got hurt and her eye was affected. Years later, in an interview given to Simi Grewal, Zeenat Aman recalled that painful period.

He said that for a long time he had almost erased that experience from his mind, because the human mind often suppresses such painful memories. Recalling that painful period, Zeenat Aman said that when there is a very uncomfortable and painful experience in life, a person almost puts it out of his mind, as if it had never happened. He said that this method often helps people deal with that pain.
Sanjay Khan had rejected the allegations
On the other hand, Sanjay Khan denied these allegations and said that Zeenat’s eyes were genetically related. Their relationship did not last long and it ended within about a year.
Second marriage did not last
After this, Zeenat married actor Mazhar Khan in 1985, but this relationship was also full of many difficulties and ups and downs. Recalling her initial days, she told that she was pregnant at that time and her husband Mazhar was not with her. She also told that at the same time a big article was published in Stardust magazine, in which there was mention of the woman with whom Mazhar Khan’s relationship was coming to light. Zeenat clearly said that all this was true.

She further told that as soon as her son was born, she wanted to get out of that relationship and there was a discussion about this also. But she also felt that her child deserved a chance, so she decided to stay. When Mazhar Khan became seriously ill, Zeenat looked after him diligently. Visited many hospitals in Mumbai, learned to give injections and stood by them in every difficult situation.
But after the death of Mazhar Khan, his life became more difficult. Due to lack of support from his family, he had to live alone with his children and do odd jobs to survive.
