Congress leader Rashid Alvi has expressed grief over the current situation in Bangladesh and the violence and lynching of Hindu community people there. He said that there can be no greater injustice and crime than lynching.
He said that whatever is happening in Bangladesh, no matter how much it is condemned, it is very little. If someone is killed illegally due to religion or any other reason, it is atrocity. There can be no greater injustice or crime than lynching.

On the issue of Aurangzeb imposing Jizya on Hindus for religious pilgrimages, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said, ‘Jizya is a separate issue. Taking tax is one thing, but taking someone’s life is another thing. Lynching is a completely different matter. Treating people in such a way that their life becomes unbearable is a completely different thing, but today the bigger question is that Mughals have no meaning today, so why is the issue related to Mughals being raised again and again in the country? It is said about the Mughals, but why not about the British that they were cruel, who killed lakhs of Indians? Jallianwala Bagh is an example before us. Dead bodies of lakhs of people remained lying in Bengal. They are not discussed.
Rashid Alvi supported the statement of TS Singh Deo
Apart from this, Rashid Alvi supported the statement of another Congress leader TS Singh Deo and said that history shows that most of the Mughal emperors were secular. Whatever the Congress leader of Chhattisgarh has said is according to history.
