Reuven Azar said that neither Israel nor America wants to launch a ground attack on Iran, but we are creating such conditions that Iran will have to change its attitude. Iran’s energy infrastructure is still safe. We targeted Iran’s top leadership, but they have gone into hiding, sometimes under the guise of civilians.
Reuven Azar said, ‘Israel has always wanted to talk, but Iran does not consider us a country, so how can we talk? Tried for 30 years. We established relations with Egypt, Jordan and Abraham Accord countries, but when all avenues of dialogue with Iran were closed, military action had to be taken. Once this operation is over, we can return to diplomacy.
Reuven Azar said that after June 2025, instead of cooperating with the international community, Iran increased its nuclear and missile capabilities by going underground, hence this action became necessary. We do not want an endless war.
