This action at Shetty’s house is being taken as part of the investigation into alleged irregularities in financial transactions and taxes related to Bastian Restaurant. Apart from this, the department has also conducted a search operation at Shilpa’s house as well as at many other places associated with her.
After raid on Shilpa’s restaurant, IT took action at her house
Actually, before raiding the house of actress Shilpa Shetty, the Income Tax Department had raided her Bastion restaurant in Dadar, Mumbai. Many officers of the IT department carried out the raid for several hours on Wednesday (December 17, 2025). The department suspects that there are many irregularities in investment, income and tax payment in Shilpa Shetty’s hotel business, regarding which the department is busy investigating.
Case registered against Bastian restaurant in Bengaluru
Shilpa Shetty’s Bastion Hospitality Company operates clubs and restaurants under the name Bastion in Mumbai as well as Pune, Bengaluru and Goa, which is now under the scanner of the Income Tax Department. At the same time, amidst this raid by the Income Tax Department, actress Shilpa Shetty had also announced the opening of her new restaurant. Shilpa has named her new restaurant Ammakai. He shared a post on the social media platform Instagram announcing his new restaurant.
