Weather Forecast: U-turn of weather as soon as winter ends, rain in 8 states, warning from Delhi-UP to Punjab-Haryana

With the onset of winter, there is going to be a change in the weather of North India once again. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of rain and thundershowers in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on 17 and 18 February. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Madhya Pradesh on 18th to 19th February. Apart from this, rain alert has been issued in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir between 17 to 19 February.

Delhi weather
Talking about the weather of Delhi-NCR, the weather will be clear today on Monday (16 February). There will be light fog in some areas in the morning. The maximum temperature of the day will be between 27 to 29 degrees and the minimum will be between 11 to 13 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dense clouds in the capital tomorrow and there will also be fog in the morning. The maximum temperature will be around 27 to 29 degrees and the minimum temperature will be around 13-15 degrees.

Temperature will rise in UP
The weather is going to take a turn again in Uttar Pradesh. Due to intermittently active western disturbances, clouds, drizzle and strong winds can bring temporary changes in the weather in some areas. A continuous increase in temperature is being recorded in the capital Lucknow. The maximum temperature may increase by 2 to 5 degrees Celsius in the coming 15 days. Due to this, the temperature is likely to cross 30 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky is expected to be clear and sunny from Monday morning. The maximum temperature can be around 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be around 12 degrees Celsius. It will remain cool in the morning and night, while there will be a feeling of heat in the afternoon.

Due to no strong weather system being active for the next two to three days, the weather will remain dry in most of the districts and the temperature will continue to rise gradually. According to Atul Singh, senior scientist of Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, there may be a change in the weather on 17 and 18 February due to the effect of western disturbance.

How is the weather in Bihar
The weather in Bihar adjacent to UP is now becoming normal. According to the Meteorological Department, today light fog may be seen in most parts of the state in the morning while there will be sunshine during the day, due to which the weather will be warm. There will not be much fluctuation in temperature. According to meteorologists, the weather is likely to remain normal till mid-February. In some places, mild cold may persist in the morning and night. At present the minimum temperature of the state has reached around 11-12 degrees.
