While promoting Ramayana at CinemaCon 2026, Namit Malhotra said, work on ‘Brahmastra 2’ will definitely happen, but first he will complete Ramayana. The story of Dev and Amrita was in Brahmastra.
The first part of ‘Brahmastra’ was released in 2022, which was directed by Ayan Mukherjee. At the end, a glimpse of the story of ‘Dev’ and ‘Amrita’ was shown, which gave a hint of the second part. Part 1 of Ramayana will be released this year

Whereas Yash will be seen as Ravana. Apart from this, many big actors like Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil and Rakul Preet Singh are also a part of the film. Namit Malhotra has described this film as a ‘Hollywood level experience’, which is preparing to go to the international level. The film will be released in 2 parts, the first part of which will be released in Diwali 2026 and the second in Diwali 2027.
