Honor and Realme have launched phones with such big battery packs and Vivo is also preparing to launch a phone with 10,000mAh battery. These companies use silicon-carbon batteries, due to which more capacity can be given without increasing the size of the phone. Now Samsung is also going to use this technology, which may create problems for Chinese companies.
Silicon-carbon battery can be found in Galaxy S-series phones
According to reports, Samsung has acknowledged that its Chinese competitors are moving ahead in terms of batteries and in view of this, Samsung is also considering using this technology. It is believed that silicon batteries can be seen in the upcoming Galaxy S-series phones. This means that Samsung phones will also start getting battery packs with higher capacity and the user will not need a power bank. According to the leak, Samsung is currently testing this technology in a phone and if everything goes well then it can be included in its newly launched phone in the next few times. However, Samsung has not yet given any official statement regarding this.
Bad memories are associated with Samsung regarding battery
Silicon-carbon batteries are still new and many big companies including Google and Apple are staying away from it. In fact, these companies including Samsung want to be completely sure about its use before adopting it. There is also a stain on Samsung’s record regarding battery. There were so many incidents of battery explosion of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 that the company immediately stopped its production and recalled this model. Many airlines had banned this phone. Due to this the company had suffered a loss of billions of rupees.
