Pahalgam Attack Whole Story: A year ago, the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir had shocked the entire country. Terrorist Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt alias Suleman took its screenshot and saved it in the Alpine Quest app installed in his phone. At this time coordinates had come on the phone of terrorist Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt alias Suleman, at that time two more terrorists Habib Tahir and Hanan Zafar alias Hamza Afghani were also with him. Also, these three terrorists were in a forest 6 kilometers away from Baisaran Park.
How did the terrorists carry out the attack?
For 2 days, these three terrorists made the plan of attack and due to rain on 19th and 20th April, on 21st April, these three terrorists reached Parvez Ahmed’s hideout, a few meters away from Baisaran Park. Where these three terrorists talked to Bashir Ahmed Jothar. Asked for food and Bashir Ahmed Jothar introduced these three terrorists to his nephew Parvez Ahmed. Parvez took these three terrorists under his influence. Where Parvez’s wife fed tomatoes and rice to the three terrorists and after having food, the three terrorists asked Parvez and Bashir about the security arrangements in the area and took information about the Amarnath Yatra.
Where all three of them had automatic rifles. Which he had hidden in his shawl. After doing recce for some time, these three terrorists sat at one place and after some time, Parvez Ahmed and Bashir Ahmed Jothar, who worked as pony riders in Baisaran Park and who had fed these three terrorists a day earlier, met them again in Baisaran Park and had some conversation among themselves.
After waiting for a few hours, around 2 o’clock, the three terrorists started making the tourists present in Baisaran Park recite Kalma one by one at gunpoint. The one who read was allowed to go and the one who could not read was killed. Overall, on the orders of Habibullah alias Saifullah Sajid Jatt, Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt, Habib Tahir and Hanan Zafar alias Hamza Afghani had taken the lives of 26 innocent people in this terrorist attack. In this, 11 were killed by lone terrorist Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt alias Suleman with his M-4 rifle.
Afzal alias Faisal Jatt has carried out many attacks in the past as well.
This was not the first time that Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt, resident of Sheikhpura, Pakistan, had carried out a terrorist attack on the orders of Habibullah alias Saifullah Sajid. Before the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, exactly one year ago on June 9, 2024, this terrorist had attacked the bus of Hindu devotees going to Shiv Khori in Raisi.
In which 9 Hindu devotees were killed and 41 were injured. Apart from this, this terrorist along with other associates had also attacked APCO’s construction site Z-Morh Tunnel in Gangangir. 7 employees died in this. Active in Jammu and Kashmir since 2023, Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt, resident of Sheikhpura, Pakistan, carried out the first terrorist attack by attacking an army vehicle in Poonch. Four soldiers were martyred in this.
Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt was also involved in the terrorist attack on Indian Air Force convoy in Surankote. A video of this was also made by the terrorists. Similarly, Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt alias Suleman was also involved in the terrorist attack that took place on 22 October 2024 in Buta Pathri area of Gulmarg, Kashmir.
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, these three terrorists Bilal Afzal alias Faisal Jatt alias Suleman, Habib Tahir and Hanan Zafar alias Hamza Afghani had fled. Whom Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army and intelligence agencies kept searching for. On the other hand, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) got the command of investigating the terrorist attack. It first inspected Baisarn Park, the site of the terrorist attack. The forensic team collected DNA samples and bullet casings.
Send to Central Forensic Labs. Expanding the scope of investigation, NIA first called all the people present in Baisaran Park on the day of the attack for questioning. In this, there was an eyewitness who was released by the terrorists after making them recite Kalma. He told NIA that on the day of the terrorist attack, both Parvez and Bashir were talking to the three terrorists involved in the attack. Also, a day before the attack, this eyewitness had seen Bashir Ahmed Jothar signaling three terrorists and taking them towards Parvez’s hideout.
How was the army operation carried out?
After which, when the NIA team reached the spot of Bashir and Parvez, it was empty. Both had run away. In such a situation, two teams of NIA set out to catch Bashir Ahmed Jothar and Parvez Ahmed. Bashir Ahmed Jothar was hiding in his house in Khaiyar village of Anantnag, 35 kilometers away from Baisaran Valley. Parvez Ahmed was hiding with his wife in Batkot village of Pahalgam, 6 kilometers away from Baisaran Valley.
Both of them told during interrogation before the NIA that they feared that they might be arrested after the terrorist attack. For this reason both of them left Baisaran Valley. Also, both of them had confessed to giving blankets and tripal to the terrorists who carried out the terrorist attack in Baisaran. Parvez also told during interrogation that the three terrorists who carried out the terrorist attack were taking the name of Sajid Jatt alias Ali during their conversation.
Army, police and intelligence agency Kotar, with the help of technical intelligence and spies, were engaged since April 22 to find the terrorists who carried out the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. According to sources, the intelligence agency had only one lead, that was a walkie talkie active in Baisaran Valley on the day of the attack in Pahalgam, which was tracked on the day of the attack, but was closed after that.
All three such terrorists were killed
However, on July 23, this closed walkie talkie became active again and this time its location was known. Dagwan Valley is 100 kilometers away from Baisaran Valley. As soon as this information came to the intelligence agencies. He first shared the information with the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police. While on one hand the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF together imposed a five-layer cordon at the location, on the other hand the spies of the Intelligence Department informed that three terrorists are present with weapons in Dagwan Valley. As soon as the information and cordon were strengthened, on July 28, the Indian Army killed the three terrorists who carried out the massacre in Pahalgam.
The army had recovered 1 M-4 rifle, 2 AK-47, two mobile phones and several bullets from these three terrorists. When these recovered materials were handed over to the NIA and then sent to the Central Forensic Lab, it came to light that the M-4 rifle and AK-47 which were found from the three terrorists. He was used to carry out the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Besides, the three killed terrorists were also identified by Bashir Ahmed Jothar and Parvez Ahmed. Apart from this, investigation by the Central Forensic Laboratory also revealed that 1 M-4 rifle and 1 AK-47 recovered from the terrorists had been used in 6 other terrorist attacks before the Pahalgam attack. This included Raisi terrorist attack, DKG terrorist attack, Air Force Convoy terrorist attack, Gagangir terrorist attack, Z Mod Tanner terrorist attack.
