Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought detailed details of the reforms done by various ministries after the formation of the new government in 2024. The Prime Minister has directed all the Union Ministers to submit detailed information about the corrective steps implemented in their respective ministries during the last two years.
The Prime Minister has especially emphasized on knowing what impact these reforms have had on the lives of common citizens. Ministers have been asked to explain how the policy changes, administrative reforms and implementation of schemes have benefited the public, what improvements have been made in the reach and quality of services, and what changes have been seen at the level of transparency and accountability.
Government gave instructions to ministers to make presentation
According to sources, all the ministers have also been asked to prepare a detailed presentation on the major reforms of their respective ministries. These presentations will include factual details of the background, objectives, implementation process of the reforms, challenges faced, their solutions and results achieved. Besides, emphasis has also been laid on explaining the impact of reforms through figures and examples.

The Prime Minister has also indicated that the priority of the government is not just to make policies, but to ensure their effective implementation and results at the ground level. For this purpose, further strategy will be prepared by reviewing the work of the ministries, so that the governance system can be made more people-centric, transparent and effective.
Since the instructions of the Prime Minister in the previous cabinet, a list of reforms is being prepared continuously in all the ministries regarding their respective departments. This review is also special because it will not only discuss the decisions taken by the Ministry but will also review its impact on the lives of the common people.
