Miss India Earth 2019 winner Sayli Surve is in news regarding her personal life. She has parted ways with her husband. Sayli had married a Muslim businessman. Now Sayli has accused her husband of harassment. Sayli told that his religious conversion was also done forcefully. However, now after separating from her husband, she has converted back to Hinduism.
According to Money Control report, Sayli married businessman Aatif Tase in 2019 against the wishes of her family. He had converted before marriage. His name was also changed to Ateja. But there were difficulties in this marriage. He faced mental and physical harassment.
Sayli Surve faced torture
Talking to the media, Sayli said, ‘Marrying Atif was the biggest mistake of my life. I took out so many years just for the sake of the children. According to the statement, he complained to the police several times but claims he did not get the help he needed. Then finally Sayli decided to get out of this marriage.
He further said, ‘If any woman is tolerating this, then please don’t. God has not given you life to lose it in front of such Ravana. Don’t lose courage. I was there for 10 years because I had 4 children. When I used to look at my children, as a mother I would never think that my house would be broken or that my children would not get the support of their parents. I spent many years thinking about all this. But being a human being, my patience gave way. I had to leave from there for my children. Sayli said that she had to hear abuses 24 hours a day. Also they used to be beaten.
