There is an atmosphere of chaos in India regarding LPG gas cylinders. Due to shortage, people in the country are in panic regarding gas cylinders for domestic and commercial use. In such a situation, the booking phase is going on. LPG stocks in India have been affected due to the war between Iran and Israel. Now an appeal has been made by the government regarding this. In this, an appeal has been made not to make panic booking.

What has the Petroleum Ministry said?

Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Petroleum Ministry, while appealing on behalf of the government, has said that we import 60 percent. 90 percent of this comes from the state of hormones. Suddenly bookings have increased manifold. People are making panic booking. We are appealing to the public not to make panic booking.

He said that hospitals and educational institutions have been given priority in the commercial category. A third C committee has been formed to monitor the remaining sectors also. Commercial cylinders will be issued. The role of state governments will be very important. The state government will have to prepare a list and tell which people can be given priority. Our aim is to prevent black marketing and hoarding through this.

State government will release additional kerosene

Let us tell you, in addition to the one lakh liter kerosene which was given to the state government till now, now 48 thousand liters more will be issued. At the same time, the Coal Ministry has instructed the states to provide more coal. It has been said that hospitality and restaurants will be allowed to use kerosene and coal for one month. Due to the steps taken by the government, more than 70% imports have started coming. We are in a much better position regarding oil. Production of LPG has been increased by 28% in the country.
