Amidst the ongoing war in the Middle East, smoke was seen rising from Fujairah’s energy unit on Saturday. After this, Iran has issued a warning to the people of UAE to immediately evacuate the areas around three major ports around the country. This warning came a few hours after the ongoing bombing by America.
Iran’s news agency Tasnim has instructed people to evacuate Jebel Ali port in Dubai, Khalifa port in Abu Dhabi and Fujairah port. The agency said that these areas have become targets of the presence and hiding of American military forces among civilian targets. They will be targeted in the coming few hours.
IRGC issues warning to UAE
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a warning to the UAE in this entire matter. Its spokesperson Ibrahim Zulfikari has said that Iran considers it as its legitimate right to attack those ports. American forces are using them under the cover of Emirates cities.
Apart from this, IRGC has said that ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz will be targeted despite the warning of US President Donald Trump. According to UAE officials, the fire was caused by the debris of a successfully intercepted drone.

Where smoke is rising, there is major storage of oil.
Actually, the area of smoke visible from Fujairah matches the port. A major oil storage and trading center along with a main import terminal are also located here. Earlier this month, drone attacks targeted UAE’s Fujairah Energy Unit.
On Friday, America attacked Kharg Island. 90% of Iran’s oil is exported from here. US Central Command has said that more than 90 Iranian military bases were attacked. These included naval mine storage facilities and missile storage bunkers. However, the oil infrastructure has been protected. Iran itself has confirmed these attacks.
UAE Foreign Ministry condemns the attack on the Consulate
Apart from this, the UAE Foreign Ministry has also condemned the targeting of its Consulate in Iraqi Kurdistan for the second time within a week. Foreign Minister Lana Nusseibeh has said that Iran will have to stop its attacks before any mediation is possible.
