Telangana News: A surprising case has come to light in the capital of Telangana, where a young man who made a video on social media pretending to be a policeman is now the target of the police. The accused has been identified as Nikhil, who turns out to be an alleged swindler and not a police employee.
According to the information, Nikhil, wearing police uniform, made videos in the Secretariat premises of Hyderabad and shared them on social media. In these videos, he was seen claiming that the security of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is in his hands and anyone who wants to meet him can contact him. Not only this, he also tried to attract people by promising them tickets for IPL matches.
Police came into action as soon as the video went viral
As soon as the video went viral on social media, the police came into action and started investigation. Investigation revealed that Nikhil had purchased a police uniform from Old Basti and was using the same to mislead people. At present the police is busy searching for him.
According to sources, fraud cases are already registered against Nikhil in many police stations of Andhra Pradesh. In such a situation, this matter has become even more serious. Police believe that he has been adopting such methods to cheat people for a long time.
Questions raised regarding the security of the secretariat
This incident has also raised serious questions on the security arrangements of the Secretariat. It is being told that this is not the first time that someone has been able to enter the secretariat with fake identity. After the formation of the Congress government, till now about a dozen people have breached the security and reached inside.
The biggest question arising is that when this person was openly roaming around the Secretariat and making videos, what were the security and intelligence systems doing. Taking action only after the matter came to light on social media shows a major lapse in the security system. At present, the police has intensified the investigation of the case and it is being claimed that the accused will be arrested soon.
