Most parts of Kashmir received fresh snowfall, and Srinagar received the first snowfall of this season. Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was closed due to snowfall and more than 20 flights had to be canceled from here. Officials said on Friday that light to moderate snowfall was recorded in the plains of Kashmir, while moderate to heavy snowfall was observed in the upper reaches and higher reaches of the valley.
