Abakkus Mutual Fund has announced the launch of its second equity scheme Abakkus Small Cap Fund. It is an open-ended small-cap fund, whose NFO will be open from February 26 to March 12. Earlier launched Abakkus FlexiCap Fund was successful in raising around Rs 2468 crore. The AUM of Flexi Cap Fund has crossed Rs 3000 crore and the number of investors has reached around 56,000. Sunil Singhania-backed Abakkus Mutual Fund will mainly invest in shares of small cap companies and equity related instruments. The main objective of the fund is to achieve long-term capital appreciation.
