Priyanka said- PM makes fun of Rahul in Parliament, then goes home and listens to his words.

Priyanka Gandhi on Women Reservation: During the special session of Parliament on the Women’s Reservation Bill, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi raised many serious questions on the Central Government and raised objections about the process. He said that the government is working “in a hurry” on this bill and an attempt is being made to implement delimitation on the basis of 2011 census, which is not appropriate. According to him, such a big change requires solid and updated data.

Priyanka raised questions on delimitation

Priyanka Gandhi also said that a proposal for 50% expansion of Parliament has come forward, but no concrete steps are visible in this direction. He alleged that there is a lack of clarity on this issue in the entire bill. Referring to Rahul, he said that he is often made fun of in Parliament, but according to him, when serious issues are discussed, only those things are given attention.

Priyanka Gandhi also accused the government that on one hand the interests of the OBC class are talked about, but on the other hand their rights are being weakened. Priyanka Gandhi’s statement shows that the opposition, along with supporting women’s reservation, is raising questions on its implementation process, timing and related issues like delimitation and representation.

Priyanka’s taunt on Shah

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, in a more scathing attack on the government over women’s reservation and delimitation, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is “nervous” because the real figures of the OBC category will be revealed when the new census is conducted. He alleged that by trying to implement delimitation based on the 2011 census, the government wants to snatch away the rights of the OBC category and is “throwing dust in the eyes” of the public.

Citing the delimitation in Assam, Priyanka Gandhi said that the delimitation was done there in an arbitrary manner, which raises questions on fairness. Taking aim at the Union Home Minister, he said that if the ancient strategist Chanakya was alive today, he too would have been shocked to see this situation.

Question on women’s reservation

Priyanka Gandhi also asked that when there are currently 543 seats in the Lok Sabha, then why 33% women’s reservation was not implemented in these. According to him, BJP has made such an important issue “a gimmick to maintain power”. His statement shows that the opposition is not opposing the purpose of women’s reservation, but is raising serious questions on the method, timing and political intentions of its implementation.
