Shahbaz Sharif came to Saudi Arabia to beg with a bowl, Pakistan government apologized to the public

The impact of the Middle East crisis is being seen seriously in Pakistan. On one hand, PAK PM Shahbaz Sharif is projecting himself in the role of peace maker amidst Iran-America tension, while on the other hand, he is not able to provide even common facilities to the common people of his country. The government of Pakistan has officially announced a power cut of 2.25 hours. Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif left on official visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey on Wednesday (15 April 2026).

Pakistan government apologized to the public

The Energy Ministry of the Government of Pakistan issued a statement on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) saying that there will be a power cut of 2.25 hours in the entire country every day. According to the ministry, this decision has been taken due to reduction in electricity production and reduction in the use of expensive fuels. On Wednesday (April 15, 2026), the Shahbaz government has apologized to the people of Pakistan for load shedding more than promised to electricity consumers.

Shahbaz Sharif went to Saudi Arabia to ask for loan

Amidst the ongoing war in the Middle East, UAE has asked for its money back from Pakistan. Shahbaz Sharif is visiting Saudi Arabia to ask for a loan to return the money to UAE. Saudi Arabia has promised to provide additional economic assistance of three billion US dollars to Pakistan. Along with this, the repayment period of the existing loan of five billion US dollars has also been extended for another three years.

Asim Munir reached Tehran

Islamabad talks between America and Iran failed. Now it is being said that the second round of talks will be held in Pakistan itself and Pakistan is making full efforts for this. Meanwhile, a Pakistani delegation led by US Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir reached Tehran on Wednesday. This delegation is part of Islamabad’s efforts to resolve the conflict between America and Iran. According to the Pakistani Army, Asim Munir is part of the delegation which also includes Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
