America Losses MQ 4c Triton: America has suffered a big loss in the war with Iran. America has lost drones worth $240 million in this fight. According to recent information from their side, it was told that the MQ-4C Triton maritime drone, which could stay in the war zone for a long time and fly high in the sky, became a victim of an accident in the Persian Gulf.
Under the US Department of War, an accident in the US with a loss of more than $2.5 million is classified as a Class-A accident under the classified system. Media reports citing CBS have estimated that the aircraft involved in the incident is worth approximately 240 to 250 million dollars. It was destroyed during the conflict with the Iranian army.
American reports informed that on April 9, 2026 (secret location – OPSEC) MQ-4C crashed. There has been no injury to any employee. In a separate report, Xinhua News Agency, citing CBS News, said that the United States has lost 24 MQ-9 Reaper drones to Iran amid increasing tensions around the Strait of Hormuz since April 1. The report further states that the estimated cost of these losses is 720 million USD. A single MQ-9 Reaper drone can cost 30 million USD or more.

The MQ-4C Triton operates for more than 24 hours at altitudes over 50,000 ft. Its range is approximately 7,400 nautical miles. It has a 360-degree multi-intelligence sensor suite. It helps in monitoring large areas and detecting threats faster.
