BJP National President Nitin Nabin has given a big statement targeting the Congress government regarding the increasing communal tension in Telangana and the alleged attacks on temples. Addressing a public meeting, he said, ‘In the last two years, many temples in the state have been targeted and attempts have been made to damage them.’ Nitin Nabin directly warned the Congress leadership and said that if the traditions of Sanatan Dharma are tampered with or restrictions are imposed on festivals, then BJP workers will not sit silent and will respond by taking to the streets.
In his address, Nitin Nabin clearly mentioned the attack by the mob in Jegi Cherla and the vandalism in Muthyalamma temple. He alleged that an attempt has been made to defile a temple located in Gandhi Nagar. He said, ‘The information I have received is worrying.’ During this, he gave a direct challenge to the Congress leaders and said, listen! Sanatan is the tradition, identity and soul of India. He said in clear words that if any tampering is done against this then the Bharatiya Janata Party workers will not tolerate it.

Opposition parties are continuously accusing the government of lapses in the security of religious places. Nitin Nabin further said in the statement that the party workers are ready to make any sacrifice to fight for the Sanatan traditions. He warned the Congress government that if it tried to insult the places of Hindu deities or disrupt festivals, it would not be able to remain in power for long. After this statement, the issue of religion and culture may once again become hot in the politics of the state.
