WhatsApp chat became the cause of death, constable stabbed to death in Hyderabad

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Hyderabad, where an AR constable was brutally murdered by his old friend by stabbing him with a knife. This horrific incident took place on Sunday night in Chilukanagar area under Uppal police station, which shocked the entire area. This incident has become an example of how just a social media chat can take someone’s life.

The name of the deceased constable is Sudhir (35), who was a resident of Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. He was posted as a constable in Hyderabad City Security Wing and lived with his family in RTC Colony, Chengicherla. Sudhir is left behind by his wife and two daughters, from whose head the shadow of being the breadwinner of the family has now been lifted.

what is the whole matter
According to information received from the police and local people, Sudhir had an old acquaintance with Santosh Nayak, an auto driver living in Chilukanagar. The chatting between the two on WhatsApp on Saturday night gradually started taking the form of a dispute. By giving challenges to each other, the matter escalated so much that both of them decided to meet on Sunday night at a vacant plot in Adarshnagar, Chilukanagar. Sudhir reached there with his friend Imran Khan, but Santosh Nayak was already sitting ready with a knife.

Police engaged in investigation
As soon as he reached the spot, Santosh attacked Sudhir indiscriminately with a knife. Sudhir and Imran ran from there to save their lives, but seriously injured Sudhir could not go far and fell near the Saibaba temple and died. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

At present the police is busy searching for the accused Santosh Nayak. Investigating officers say that whether this murder took place only because of WhatsApp chat or there is some old enmity behind it, the case is also being investigated from this aspect.
