Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla starrer tragic love story ‘Tere Naam’ was directed by late Satish Kaushik. Fans were waiting for a long time to see this film again in theatres. Finally, it was re-released on limited screens on 27 February. After hitting the theaters again, the film clashed with films like ‘The Kerala Story 2’ and ‘O Romeo’ and ‘Border 2’, due to which its earnings were affected. However, on Sunday it beat the collections of Border 2 to Mardaani 3.
- Talking about the re-release earnings of ‘Tere Naam’, the film had earned Rs 23 lakh on the first day after coming to the theaters again.

‘Tere Naam’ beat the sixth Sunday collection of Sunny Deol’s blockbuster Border 2 by earning Rs 27 lakh on the third day of its re-release. Let us tell you that according to the data of SACNL, Border 2 has earned Rs 25 lakh on its sixth Sunday i.e. 38th day. At the same time, it has also left behind the earning of Rs 24 lakh of the fifth Sunday of Mardaani 3.
