Actually, after getting married in Udaipur, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda had reached the actor’s native village in Achampet division of Nagarkurnool district. While interacting with the people there, the actor made an important announcement, which received loud applause from the crowd gathered there. Let us tell you that through his NGO, Deverakonda Charitable Trust, Vijay has announced to give scholarship to the students studying in class 9 and 10 in 44 government schools of the area. The aim of this initiative is to help needy students and encourage them to continue their studies without any financial problems.
In the video going viral on social media, Vijay is seen talking to the villagers in Telugu, in which he is explaining his commitment to the students of his city. He assured the community that the scholarship will directly benefit the teenagers who are preparing for the important board exams. Vijay also promised to visit his village more often, to strengthen his bond with the community that shaped his formative years.

Rashmika and Vijay got married on February 26 in Udaipur as per Telugu and Kodava customs. After this, the couple took blessings at Tirupati Balaji temple. While celebrating his marriage, he also distributed sweets in many cities. On March 2, Rashmika held her housewarming ceremony at Vijay’s house in Thummanpeta, Telangana. The couple also performed Satyanarayan Vratam puja at their new home. Rashmika wore a cream Kanjeevaram saree on this occasion, while Vijay wore a simple look in orange T-shirt and black trousers during the conversation in the village.
