Recently, Telangana Jagriti President K. was acquitted in the Delhi liquor scam. Delhi High Court has once again issued a notice to Kavita. This notice has come after the petition of CBI in which the investigating agency had challenged the orders of Rouse Avenue Court. Taking immediate cognizance of the petition, the High Court K. Notice was served to seven high-profile personalities including Kavita and once again the Delhi liquor scam case came into limelight.
Of. Kavita herself issued a statement on social media confirming this notice. He wrote that on Thursday (March 12, 2026) at around 12:30 pm, he received a notice from CBI, in which it was told that the hearing will be held in Delhi High Court on Monday (March 16, 2026).
Kavita said that she is taking advice from her legal team and will give an appropriate reply through official channels. She also said that she is confident that the truth will prevail and she will cooperate fully in the legal process. He appealed to everyone not to view this notice in a wrong light because giving notice is a normal legal procedure when an investigating agency appeals in a higher court.
Which seven people got notice from Delhi High Court?
Among the seven people who have received notices, Telangana Jagruthi president K. Apart from Kavitha, big names like Hyderabad business tycoon Arun Ramachandra Pillai, Abhishek Boinpalli, Sharat Chandra Reddy and former MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy are included. All of them have already been under the scanner of this scam, but after the intervention of the High Court, the heat of the case has once again reached its peak.
Kavita has been in jail for months in this case
Of. Kavita has already been caught by ED in this case and has spent months in Tihar jail. After the acquittal, when everyone heaved a sigh of relief and felt that this chapter was closed, then this latest step of CBI has surprised everyone. This new legal pressure is no less than a big blow for BRS, which has already lost the assembly elections.
Monday’s hearing is important for the case
The decision that will come in the hearing on Monday (March 16, 2026) in the Delhi High Court will decide not only the fate of these seven accused but also the direction and condition of the entire Delhi liquor scam.
