Pakistani officials in contact with America and Iran
According to Pakistani officials, the proposal for a meeting in Islamabad will depend on whether Iran and the US side demand some other venue or not. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter with the press, said the proposal would depend on whether both sides choose another location. A Pakistani official said that although the first talks ended without any agreement, it was part of an ongoing diplomatic process and not a one-time effort. This will be continued further also.

Army Chiefs Asim Munir and Ishaq Dar are trying to convince America and Iran, because somewhere Munir is afraid that if the war starts again, Pakistan will have to order its army deployed in Saudi Arabia to attack. Therefore Pakistan wants to stop the war at all costs.
