There was panic in Venkatapuram village of Sangareddy district of Telangana on Friday (March 13, 2026) afternoon when a large swarm of bees suddenly attacked the villagers. It was morning, people were busy in their daily activities, when a swarm of bees attacked the villagers. Within no time, there was screams in the entire village and people started running here and there to save their lives.
Many people of the village were badly injured in this sudden and horrific attack of bees. Children, elderly and women all fell victim to this attack. The condition of many people became critical due to hundreds of stings on their bodies. This swarm of bees was so large that people failed to escape from them and the attack continued for a long time.
The condition of many patients remains serious in the hospital.
As soon as information about the incident was received, local people and administration came into action. The seriously injured villagers were immediately rushed to the government hospital in Sadashivpet, where doctors started their treatment. The condition of some patients admitted in the hospital is still said to be critical. According to doctors, there is a danger of poison spreading in the body due to excessive sting, hence the injured have been kept under special surveillance.
Villagers demanded from administration
Local people say that there was a big beehive near the village, which suddenly got agitated for some reason and the swarm turned towards the village. The villagers have demanded from the administration that this hive should be removed safely so that no such incident happens again in future.
This incident has put the entire village in panic. What had started off a normal morning suddenly turned into a horrific accident. The relatives of the injured are standing worried outside the hospital and are pleading for immediate relief from the administration. At present, the administration is keeping an eye on the situation and complete arrangements are being made for the treatment of the injured.
