Aam Aadmi Party chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got a big relief on Friday (February 27). Delhi court acquitted him and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in the liquor scam. After the court’s decision, Kejriwal was seen crying bitterly. During the press conference, he targeted Congress by taking names from Sonia Gandhi to Rahul Gandhi and Robert Vadra. Congress has retaliated on Kejriwal’s question.
What did Arvind Kejriwal say?
On the allegations of giving relief to Kejriwal to harm Congress, Kejriwal said, ‘I want to ask Congress, Kejriwal had gone to jail. Did Robert Vadra go to jail? Did Sanjay Singh go to jail? Did Rahul Gandhi go to jail? Did Sonia Gandhi go to jail? What is Congress saying? Isn’t he ashamed?’ This statement of Kejriwal heated up the political atmosphere. His statement is also being linked to election strategy.
Congress targeted
Congress leader Gurdeep Singh Sappal targeted Kejriwal. Said, ‘False allegations, false Messiah, hollow Lokpal, all these were part of the drama created by him.’ Posting on social media platform X, he wrote, ‘Kejriwal did his initial politics by targeting former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and late Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit. Is Kejriwal’s tears showing some remorse for the allegations made at the time of AAP’s launch in 2011-12?
‘Due to propaganda, Sonia-Rahul, Sheila Dikshit, Manmohan Singh were defamed’
Sappal further said, ‘The trial court dismissed the charges against Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. Kejriwal also cried. If this is seen as a natural feeling, then it would be obvious that being proven guilty unnecessarily causes pain. But is this pain only of Arvind Kejriwal? Would this not have been felt by Dr. Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, Sheila Dikshit, whom Arvind Kejriwal defamed and conducted a media trial just for the sake of propaganda?

Congress spokesperson Kheda made these allegations
Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda blamed BJP and CBI for Kejriwal’s acquittal. He said that the CBI, which is controlled by the BJP government, deliberately weakened its case. He posted on social media platform X and wrote, ‘This is the strategy of BJP. Giving the name of vengeance to governance and using agencies as electoral weapons.” Khera further said, ‘With Gujarat and Punjab elections underway, the action against Aam Aadmi Party and other ‘convenient allies’ will end quietly.’
Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinet shared a video of Kejriwal getting emotional over his ex. In which Kejriwal was shown crying. Shrinate said, ‘Our leader (Rahul Gandhi) is a lion’ because there are reportedly 32 cases registered against him while Kejriwal has only one case.
